International Excellence award are announce by Northern Arizona University for international students in Multiple Educational Programs.

NAU is a famous university all around the world and it deals with multiple educational programs like PhD, graduate and undergraduate levels

It’s a merit-based tuition waiver program for first time F-1 graduate and undergraduate degree seeking international students directly into a university degree program on the Flagstaff campus.

Eligibility Criteria with Details:

  • The international Excellence award Opportunities for high-achieving underrepresented international students to attend NAU.
  • Deadline for fall semester is march 1st and for the spring semester is October 1st.
  • Limited numbers of scholarships are offered.
  • Candidate with 3.0 GPA or higher will be considered.
  • Candidates entering through bilateral exchange, an ISEP exchange, or Dual degree program are not eligible.
  • Award cannot be deferred and the acceptance of the award must be signed, scanned and returned to [email protected] no later than 1st May for fall semester and 1st December for Spring Semester.

Way to apply International Excellence Award:

Step 1: Candidate need to apply online and submit online application to get an admission in Undergraduate courses at NAU. After that a university student, all applicants will be consider.

Step 2:  Following supporting documents are require: two Honors admissions essays, resume or list of activities and accomplishments, the SAT and the ACT

Step 3: For admission GPA of 3.0 or higher (unweighted) required

Step 4: Evidence  of English proficiency, if ur native language is not English : Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) an International English language Testing System (IELTS), with minimum scores of  80 (TOEFL iBT) or 6.5 (IELTS)

Benefits through Scholarship:

The university will provide all the following:

  • Successful candidates will receive award worth up to $10,000 – $13,000 per year in two installments.
  • Scholarship Award for the Graduate students is $10,000.
  • Renewability for this award: candidates must maintain their GPA of 3.50 or higher to renew this award for $13,000 per academic year.
